Hypocrisy towards democracy
The human life has passed through a long way of development. If we could
make an anachronism of history we will see that how few empires, without the
exception of actual modern powers, have justified enslavement and occupation
of various countries. Romans justified imperialism with the presentation
regulations and rules whereas the Britons offered liberalism and progress,
Russians presented as their offer to the people the socialism and communism.
Today, there are promised freedoms and democracy to us, but the reality in
which we live and see every day is different.
Declarations on democracy have been consecutive recently and especially
after some events which had a wide world impact. The positioning of certain
powers in the favor of a country that, according to their claims, is trying
to defend democracy within its boundaries has lead to causing discontent
among those people which suffer at their expense such a positioning that is
related to close interests. This reaction comes naturally since it is
obvious that the content of declarations issued in relation to democracy do
not conform to the reality in which people are currently living and, in some
cases, these two are in conflict with each-other.
People that suffer the injustice of such intentional positioning tend to
raise their voice and appeal for the implementation of right humane laws and
rules. But their voice can not be heard over the megaphones of officials or
governments that try to present as inexistent the facts on violations of the
democratic principles.
The developed countries pride themselves on the democracies that they have
achieved to create in their countries and accuse the so-called developing
countries or those which are in difficult social-economical conditions for
being jealous for their achievements. They thing that in every step that
they undertake it is followed the democracy pattern and everything is
justified by the name that they represent. But, its not correct, since in a
way or another, they prejudice and underrate countries and people that are
labeled as undeveloped.
To be a representative of democracy and implementation of its principles, it
means, first of all, to respect the feelings, opinions and human status of
everyone and this despite the social strata does one come from, despite of
the religious affiliation and culture of ones country.
In a real democracy, every individual enjoys the right and the status of a
member of society and is fully equal to others. This comes as a necessity
and right of everyone to be respected and enjoy the deserved dignity. But,
these values and laws of the democratic system can be applied in the best
form, if in every society there would exist the fundamental stone. This
stone has to do with the acknowledgment of the position that belongs to man
in this galaxy, in relationship with the One who gave him life, society and
everything that exists around him. As a follow of this, man has to
acknowledge ones rights and duties in rapport with everything that
surrounds him.
By not leaving out the importance of having a state, it should be specified
that the importance of the formation of a society is bigger. The way how a
state will progress has mostly to do with the manner in which its citizens
will be treated. The power of a state varies on the ground of the power that
its own citizens have delegated to it. Their opinion should be decisive as
to the formation of the government, which should act not only after their
advice, but also in accordance to their desires.
As a result, we can say that the difference between the western type
democracy, where the power belongs to the people and the one which is based
on the Absolute power of God is that the later combines the religious faith
with the notion of democracy and civilization. In this democracy, the
absolute Ruler is God and the leaders obey to His rule and are His
dependents. In such a democracy, it is very likely that everyone see in
reality the principles of the true democracy.
